Areas of Interest

Studying Architecture at Kennesaw State University, our Chapter consists of first to fifth year Architecture students. Learning more and more each year. Our fifth year students get to participate in in the 3-Minute Thesis competition each year.

Jeremy Smith scholarship foundation

Donated cocktail napkin sketches created by famous and local architects, professionals, and architecture students are featured through a silent auction. We encourage fun, mingling, and networking at this memorable yearly event.

Graphic Design

Throughout our studio and Design Communcation courses we start learning different programs such as Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Through AIAS and other organizations students get the chance to expand their graphic designs.

BRPH Architects + Engineers and the American Institute of Architecture Students at Kennesaw State University have our award winning team together for the annual Canstruction competition in November. Canstruction is an international competition in over 150 cities around the world in which teams design and build structures made of food (mostly cans).

Mentorship Program

AIA Atlanta and NOMA Atlanta join together for the mentorship program. The mentorship program will pair students with architects and other design professionals to create an exciting relationship.
