Recently known as Southern Polytechnic State University, Kennesaw State University - Marietta Campus, is the home of Architecture.
Architecture and Construction Management - two complementary, collaborative disciplines that seek to provide a nurturing, meaningful, sustainable, safe and beautiful built environment.
Our college is young, but it inherits and builds upon the timeless integration and synergy of architecture, art, humanities, engineering and construction - and the realization of an architectural vision through efficient, quality and environmentally responsible construction and construction management.
The College of Architecture and Construction Management is home to two fully accredited programs - Architecture and Construction Management - offering degrees at the undergraduate and graduate level, with several areas of concentration and speciality.
The College of Architecture and Construction Management has a focus on the built environment. The College brings together two distinct disciplines and pedagogical cultures that are intertwined in practice and have much to share in learning and research. Kennesaw State University is classified as a Comprehensive University by the Georgia Board of Regents and the College of Architecture and Construction Management supports both teaching and research as defined by the Board.
Architecture Building - N
The Architecture building, designed by Heery International, opened in the spring of 2002. It is a state-of-the-art facility featuring 103,000 square feet of classrooms, galleries, support centers, studios, shops, labs and a community design assistance center. It has won awards in design excellence from the American Institute of Architects and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
